The U.S. Department of Labor has issued regulation changes to the Family and Medical Leave Act. They include expanded military caregiver leave for veterans, and qualifying exigency leave for parental care. They expand the definition of “covered veterans.”
The new provisions are effective March 8, 2013.
Employers with 50 or more workers must post the revised FMLA poster.
