Helping others on the journey
Here’s how we contribute:
ABLE Associates is committed to serving our growing community in a variety of ways. Our staff contributes time and talent, in addition to spearheading fundraisers and drives.
There is no space here to list the contributions our owner and founder, Eileen Wheeler Sheehan, makes. These are just a few examples. She gives her time to help prepare at-risk students and adults enrolled in adult education programs to work. She is a mentor with the Entrepreneurship for All Program. A dedicated Rotarian, she runs the “First Impressions” project to help job seekers from a variety of programs learn how to project a professional first impression.
Over the years, ABLE Associates has been supporting the community with numerous food and clothing drives, volunteering with MY Brother’s Keeper to help families in need during the holidays, donating yearly to Breast Cancer Foundations, and donating to varies local charities monthly. ABLE Associates also partners up with local educational institutes that specialize in healthcare to find careers for their recent graduates.
Every year, our employees join the staff of Mary L. Fonseca Elementary School in welcoming students in grades 1-4. We cheer, clap, and give a thumbs-up to all students as they arrived for their first day of school.
We welcome ideas and suggestions for ways we can participate in initiatives to serve our community. Call us at 508-673-3979.
